AutoCAD 2017 21.0 License Key Full Free For Windows
How does AutoCAD make a 3D design?
AutoCAD can make 3D models from 2D drawings, and 2D drawings from 3D models.
For example, you may start with a 2D drawing of a house. You may then import the drawing into AutoCAD so that it is represented as a 3D object. Then, you can make a 3D model of the house.
The 3D model contains surface features (in the solid and wireframe views) and dimensions (also in the solid and wireframe views).
You can then use AutoCAD to draw other parts of the drawing on the model.
Note: You can view and manipulate a 3D model as 2D drawings.
The 3D model may also include features that are part of other drawings or files. For example, you may import a wall feature from a DWG drawing into a 3D model, and then use AutoCAD to add shading and dimensions.
The 3D model is not required to be a 3D solid; it may be a wireframe model. You can turn the 3D model into a 2D drawing.
2D drawings and 3D models are both stored in the same file format, so you can import one type of model into the other.
How can I use AutoCAD?
After you install AutoCAD, open the program and choose Start > Autodesk > AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT to start using it.
Before you start:
AutoCAD must be connected to the Internet to download updates and products, and to connect to other AutoCAD users. This is the case even if you are connected to the Internet on a separate computer.
You will need to buy a serial number from Autodesk. This is a number to identify your installation of AutoCAD. You can get it online at
In AutoCAD LT, the serial number is needed to activate the software.
After you start AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT, you will be able to follow the tutorial to learn how to use the software.
In the Help menu, you can access online help. In the Help menu, choose Autodesk | Help | Online Help. A help window will open.
Click on the User Guide icon at the top left of the window

Free trial software and paid licensees
AutoCAD is available free of charge for the length of a trial period that lasts for 30 days (default) or 60 days (extended).
If a user is not satisfied with the software after the trial, they are not required to pay the one-off license fee for AutoCAD. As well as the free 30- or 60-day trial, for subsequent months, a user is granted access to AutoCAD without a license fee.
AutoCAD does not include any service plan, and users are not required to pay for an AutoCAD subscription if they do not wish to use all of AutoCAD’s features.
The 60-day trial version includes the initial set of features (no AutoCAD Cloud), while the 30-day version does not.
Paid licensees can choose to have AutoCAD Cloud included with their subscription or to pay an additional subscription fee to cover it.
Individual academic institutions have the option of receiving free access to AutoCAD through the “Your Institution” portal.
In addition to AutoLISP, AutoCAD includes an object-oriented programming language called AutoCAD Visual LISP. It is included with the basic installation of AutoCAD and is available as an add-on for AutoCAD LT.
The visual LISP editor has a programming console that functions as the graphical programming editor for Visual LISP. Visual LISP is written in Visual Basic.
Visual LISP allows a programming expert to program AutoCAD efficiently by visually programming graphic user interfaces (GUIs) on the screen. Visual LIS

What’s New in the?
Markup Assist is improved with the addition of new objects and text tools to allow for even more intuitive markup in your drawings. The new text tools reduce the effort of entering text and facilitate better reading of your marks.
Autodesk has introduced the new Read Freely and Read Again text tool. This tool provides contextual prompts and skip navigation, like in a book, so you can read faster and better with fewer errors. You can use Read Freely to mark up your own design or to annotate existing documentation. Read Freely automatically creates marks when you mouse-over a feature or text.
You can create more powerful annotations on shapes in your drawings with Markup Import. By importing a text file, you can insert shapes, curves, arcs, text, and annotation layers into a drawing. The automatic text import capabilities allow you to create text using text tools on a template and then insert into the drawing in a variety of ways.
Changes to the text import template system have been made to better support importing an entire page. In previous releases, you needed to create a new text import template for each page, even when you wanted to use the same template for each page. For example, if you wanted to insert a drawing title and a title page in the same drawing, you had to create two text import templates. Now, one template can be used multiple times to insert the same piece of text on different pages.
See the video to learn more about Markup Import and Markup Assist.
Revit 2019.1 gives you a more powerful, faster, and easier way to create and share your designs.
Create assemblies of your own 3D models and import them into your design.
With the Autodesk® Revit® 2019.1 release, you can now create an assembly of your own 3D models and import them directly into your design. You can create multiple assemblies for a single model using a combination of the same material and custom geometry.
You can then add the assemblies to a viewport or architectural layout. Assemblies can be a set of discrete elements that can be linked together or an assembly that is connected to one or more continuous elements.
These assemblies allow you to create a comprehensive set of elements that can be used to build your designs. You can also import the assemblies into Autodesk® 3ds Max® and into Autodesk® Inventor
